WiJungle ("we", "us", "our") provides the WiJungle mobile & web application (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how we disclose it, and your choices regarding your information. Please read it carefully.

1. Summary

In short: We collect a limited set of ephemeral information required to provide the VPN service (account, device and connection metadata). We do not inspect, store, or log the content of your network traffic (websites you visit, messages, or files transferred). 2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account information: Corporate username which is created by your it admin in their premises is used while authenticating the vpn tunnel connection.
• Support communications: When you contact support via our website we may keep records of your messages.

Automatically collected information ephemerally

When you use the App we automatically collect certain information necessary to operate the VPN service:

• Connection metadata: timestamps (connection start and end), bandwidth used (data volume), connection duration, assigned VPN IP (if applicable), and the server you connected to. We may also collect your device public IP address at the time of connection for the purpose of establishing the VPN tunnel and preventing abuse.
• Device & OS information: device mac address & operating system version for authentication constraint which are being applied by your it admin.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not monitor, record, or store the content of your network traffic such as visited URLs, DNS queries, content of communications, files, or messages.
• We do not collect credentials for third‑party services (other than account credentials you provide for the App itself).

3. Why we collect information — purposes and legal bases

• Provide and maintain the VPN & Auth service which connects to your corporate resources: connection metadata and device information are needed to establish and manage VPN connections.
• Security & abuse prevention: to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and harmful activity (for example to block malicious traffic, rate-limit users, or comply with court orders).

4. Third parties & disclosures

We do not share your information in any circumstances.

5. Data retention

We retain connection metadata, account information ephemerally in memory as long as necessary to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes such as fraud detection and security.

6. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal data we process. These safeguards include access controls, encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where appropriate, and regular security testing.

7. Your choices

• Access & correction: You may contact your it admin to request access to, correction of, or updates to your account information, we do not store any data in our servers.
• Delete account: You can request deletion of your account and related personal data with your it admin who store this data in their premises.

8. Permissions used by the App

The App requests the minimum permissions necessary to provide the VPN service. On Android, the App will request the VPN permission to create a secure tunnel and may request other permissions such as access to network state or the ability to run in the background.

9. Google Play requirements

As required by Google Play, this policy discloses the categories of data the App collects and how that data is used and shared.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App.
